Job summary

IKEA Batu Kawan is seeking a Part Time IKEA Food Assistant to support our Food & Restaurant department with 20 hours per week. You will perform food handling tasks, assist customers, and help maintain café operations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior F&B or café experience is an advantage; you should be fit and reliable, with a cheerful, helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• Part-time availability for 20 hours per week.
• Experience in Food & Beverage and Café working is an additional advantage.
• Physically fit with hands-on approach.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers’ needs and requests for food with the best customer service quality.
• Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Hygiene practices at all time.
• Upkeep cleanliness and hygiene standards at all time.
• Cash handling and able to perform daily food handling and housekeeping chores.
• Handle basic food preparation.
• Work rotating shifts and support retail operations during peak periods.
