Job summary

IKEA Batu Kawan is seeking a Part-time IKEA Food Assistant (Kitchen) to support the Food & Restaurant department. The role involves basic food handling, customer service, and maintaining hygiene standards in a vibrant retail setting.

Applicants should be cheerful, physically fit, and able to work rotating shifts including weekends/public holidays. Previous F&B or café experience is a plus, but not required.

• Perform food handling tasks with prolonged walking/standing.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene practices.
• Attend to customers’ food needs with quality service.
• Ensure all food products are in good condition and correctly priced.
• Maintain cleanliness and high hygiene standards at all times.
• Handle cash and assist with daily food handling and housekeeping tasks.
• Having Food & Beverage and Café experience is an advantage.
