We are an established legal firm located in Damansara Perdana since 2008. Our area of practice is predominantly general litigation emphasizing on commercial, strata management, recovery, company and contractual disputes.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive paralegal or legal clerk to support our legal team in various administrative and legal tasks such as:

  1. Drafting, preparing, compiling and filing various cause papers, correspondences, bundles of documents, witness statements, submissions and all other hearing/trial related documents;
  2. Ensuring related case documents are properly ordered, indexed, filed and available;
  3. Carry out legal searches and research on statutes and case law;
  4. Coordinate with dispatch team to send/receive/serve documents/notices timely and promptly;
  5. Update calendars and tracking deadlines of court cases and key meetings;
  6. Coordinate with legal team, clients, statutory bodies, external counsel and stakeholders for documentation/correspondences/meetings.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Law or equivalent with related work experience preferred
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages would be highly advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess own transport
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
  • Willing to learn and take instructions
  • Possess positive work attitude and self-motivated
