About The Client
Our client is a global provider of alternative legal and compliance services. They support in-house legal teams and law firms with flexible legal resourcing. Their services include contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the project manager on advising the client on corporate secretarial and governance best practice through the assistance of our extensive network of counsel firms in APAC.
- Ensuring that projects and deadline are achieved on time to the highest of standards.
- Participating and leading on multiple client-focused communications (email, phone and virtually/in-person).
- Managing the input and output of client-focused legal technologies (High Q, Dilitrust).
- Reporting in to the Client Coordinator and Client Partner to provide regular updates on, but not limited to, client service and development, opportunities, escalations and more.
Job Requirements
- Possess Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent computer skills, in particular MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in the legal or company secretarial sector is an added advantage.
- Commercial and practical outlook.
- Ability to build relationships and rapport, demonstrating credibility.
- Confident in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and to take ownership of tasks, time and workload by prioritising and managing expectations.
- Prefer candidates who do not intend to pursue CLP or practice, as we are looking for someone committed to a long-term paralegal role.
