Job summary

Versa Asia invites a Developer Intern to join our Engineering/Technology team in Malaysia. You’ll work on real features for a user-facing financial mobile app, gaining hands-on coding across platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will perform testing, analyze existing functionalities, and explore topics like machine learning and automation while receiving a monthly allowance during the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program (e.g., Computer Science, IT, SE).
• Commitment of minimum 4 months internship.
• Strong desire to learn with professional drive.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Extra points for experience in developing web/mobile apps or REST APIs.
• Passionate about application development and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and non-functional testing for Versa mobile app.
• System testing and reporting errors and bugs.
• System analysis for added and existing app functionalities.
• Research topics like machine learning and automation when needed.
