Job summary

BL Trading in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant on a contract basis. You will receive and inspect shipments, load/unload goods, unpack, store, pick/pack, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and SOP compliance.

Office hours are 9am–6pm (Monday–Friday) with no overtime. Fresh graduates welcome; basic computer literacy and teamwork required. Own transport and a valid driving licence are needed; forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates with part-time warehouse experience are welcome.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Possess own transportation and a valid driving licence.
• Willing to perform physical work and handle heavy goods.
• Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
• Perform loading and unloading of goods from lorries or containers.
• Unpack, check and recheck incoming goods.
• Arrange and store goods at designated racks or locations.
• Perform picking, packing and repacking of goods.
• Prepare orders for shipment according to Delivery Order (DO).
• Check goods before shipment and assist with loading goods onto lorries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform stock-taking and cycle counts when required.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
