Job summary

Blum Asia Pacific is seeking a Production Operator (Packaging) to support daily packaging operations. You will prepare materials, operate packaging equipment, and ensure finished goods are packed safely and accurately according to quality standards and work instructions.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, assembling packaging materials, inspecting outputs, and verifying details before sealing. The role requires attention to detail, basic Bahasa Malaysia, and readiness for 12-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate in Manufacturing, Production, or related field.
• 1–2 years of packaging, assembly, or manufacturing line experience preferred; fresh candidates considered.
• Ability to read production orders, packaging instructions, and product/work specifications.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, Monday to Saturday, with overtime as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging materials (boxes, inserts/forms, anti-static bags) per order requirements.
• Visually inspect finished goods prior to packaging to ensure no defects.
• Verify all information (quantity, part number, variant, serial number) before sealing/boxing.
• Operate packaging equipment per SOPs and safety requirements.
• Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition and report faults promptly.
• Prepare workstation with all materials and documents before starting work.
• Maintain workspace organization and 5S standards; ensure documents are up to date.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Warehouse to meet targets.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/shift leader.
