This role requires a Packaging Engineer in assisting in the development of new packaging concepts, ensuring product and process specifications maximize production efficiencies, and contributing to competitively priced product offerings. You will play a key role in achieving new product development goals and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

key responsibilities

• Assist in developing new packaging concepts in line with innovation and sustainability objectives.
  
• Establish product and process specifications to maximize production efficiencies and ensure competitive pricing.
  
• Help prepare detailed specifications and tolerances for new products and designs, meeting food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
  
• Ensure zero development failures across various stages, including layout, graphics, tooling, ink matching, and trial runs.
  
• Maintain comprehensive development records for all new products, including calendars, briefs, meeting minutes, approvals, and validation reports.
  
• Implement and adhere to all Product Development Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  
• Work towards achieving all new product development goals.
  
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date specifications.
  
• Increase sales through new product development in various categories, aligning with sales targets.
  
• Conduct periodic reviews to optimize product layouts, specifications, and designs for efficiency and material savings.
  
• Analyze processes and implement continuous improvements for efficiency and product quality.
