Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Packaging Design Engineer to develop and optimize packaging solutions. This role involves collaboration with sales and production teams and requires a Bachelor's degree along with substantial design experience in the packaging industry. You'll be answering customer inquiries and leading small projects, ensuring timely task completion within established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years design experience in Packaging or related engineering.
• Experience in Thermoforming, corrugation, and ISTA Lab testing preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities (English/Chinese) desirable.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Packaging Design Engineer is responsible for developing optimized packaging solutions that meets customer needs in all aspect

Main Responsibilities

• Adhere to Nefab design policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Design the complete packaging solution that meets the requirement from Sales and customer within given parameters and packaging budget etc.
• Provide technical support to the sales and customers on projects, packaging design, material specifications, packaging instructions, engineering presentations etc.
• Coordinate with production, QA department, sourcing department and supplier to ensure the product-ability of the design.
• Interactive directly with customer, supplier for Data gathering, Design support etc
• Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested & perform any other tasks assigned by manager
• Ensure all the task completed within the tide deadline
• A good Team player
• Leading project with small teams.
  
  

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma in engineering or Design Related Courses.
• Candidates will have Experience in 3D Modelling software & CAD software.
  
  

Experience

• Candidates will have minimum 3 years’ design experience in Packaging Industries or application engineering background in a light engineering, machine building, Tooling design preferred.
• Advantageous, if candidates will have any design knowledge in Thermoforming, corrugation, foam, wooden crate & plywood.
• Advantageous, if candidates will have ISTA Lab testing experience (ISTA 1A, ISTA 2A, ISTA 3A, ISTA 3E).
