Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Overseas Engineering Design Delivery Expert to oversee and support data center mechanical (HVAC) design delivery, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data center MEP/HVAC architectures, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with design institutes, consultants, and vendors to drive successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or above in HVAC / Building Services Engineering.
• 2+ years of design-related experience in engineering construction or delivery.
• Experience with design institutes or engineering consultancies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support data center mechanical (HVAC) design delivery, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate cross-functional internal teams, design institutes, external consultants, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy/information security standards and EHS regulations.
• Drive continuous workflow improvements through proactive communication, task tracking, and issue resolution.

Overseas Engineering Design Delivery Expert

Oversee and support data center mechanical (HVAC) design delivery, ensuring strict alignment with project schedules, budget/cost, and quality benchmarks.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of data center Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) architectures, key technical features, and HVAC design standards, theoretical calculations, and core equipment selection.

Coordinate cross-functional internal teams, design institutes, external consultants, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Ensure all engineering workflows strictly adhere to data privacy/information security standards as well as workplace health and safety (EHS) regulations.

Drive continuous workflow improvements through proactive communication, regular task tracking, and efficient issue resolution.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree or above (HVAC / Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning / Building Services Engineering background is required).

Work Experience:

• 2+ years of design-related experience in engineering construction/delivery.
• Experience with design institutes or engineering consultancies is highly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with data center MEP/HVAC architecture and design principles.

Technical & Software Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and standard engineering software.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong team player with high initiative, accountability, and proactive problem-solving skills.
