Job Descriptions:
(a)Assist Assistant Floor Manager / Floor Manager (the “Manager”) to analyse restaurant’s sales levels and profitability with the following:
•Perform daily closing and tally sales records to ensure consistency and accuracy
•Perform bank deposits after ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial transactions
•Provide daily reports to Finance (cash sales report and credit card settlement report)
•Implement core business and marketing plans
•Make suggestions to organize marketing activities such as discount themes and promotional events on and off site
•Provide any other ad-hoc reports as requested
(b)Assist the Manager to support the Head Chef / Chefs in planning and coordinating restaurant menus, keeping trend and competition information in mind
(c) Assist the Manager to manage staff
•Ensure all staff members comply to safe food handling procedures
•Evaluate adequacy of staff force and where required, interview, hire and train new staff to work in different positions at the restaurant
•Formulate work schedules on a weekly or monthly basis and outline each staff member’s work duties
• Keep a detailed record of all leave taken by staff
(d) Engage customers is positive dialogue to ensure return business: collect customer feedback - take and resolve any complaints from them
(e) Be proactive and inform your superior if any issues arise with suggestions to resolve the issue
(f) Perform restaurant opening and closing activities and organize management of repair and maintenance issues
(g) Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in restaurant supervisor or floor manager role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and handle pressure during peak hours.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Familiarity with POS systems
