We are seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to join the team at Borneo Island Cafe Sdn. Bhd., our vibrant cafe located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. As Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the overall success of the business. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and advancement.

Our restaurant serving authentic local Borneo Food (eg kolome, Sarawak Laksa, Tuhao, Ambuyat, Babi BBQ and much more). Our restaurant is non-Halal and non Muslim friendly, employees must be NON-MUSLIM.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee all cafe operations, including staffing, inventory management, stock purchase, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety regulations

Lead and motivate a team of passionate baristas, servers, and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience

Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards

Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting

Collaborate with the regional management team to identify and implement improvements to operations

Foster a positive, productive, and customer-centric work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar outlet management role within the hospitality or food and beverage industry

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting

Proficient in verbal and written communication in Malay and English (proficient in verbal communication in Bahasa Iban/Sabahan/Chinese etc is your advantage); Majority of our customers are from Borneo (Sarawak and Sabah)

A passion for the food and beverage industry and a drive to deliver exceptional customer experiences

Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
