• Set in Malaysia's rapidly developing capital our hotel is located in the heart of KL Eco City, Bangsar and directly connected to LRT Station and KTM Commuter Station. Amari Kuala Lumpur is ideally located in between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya with 252 guest rooms ranging from well- appointed Superior rooms, Deluxe rooms, Club Deluxe rooms and Club One Bedroom Suites.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for the restaurants, bars, and room service
• Prepares weekly cover forecast and ensures all Team Members are scheduled accordingly.
• Ensures the correct implementation of all cash-handling procedures, including cashiering, closing, and remittance.
• Assists in the operation at peak times and at any other times when business needs require hands-on assistance.
• Organizes inventories and implements the outlet’s monthly inventory.
• Ensures implementation of SOP and all policies & procedures related to the department.
• Ensures all guest requests and complaints are handled appropriately, adhering to the hotel’s general guidelines for service recovery.
• Orders operating supplies when required, monitors bar transfers, and ensures the outlet maintains a minimum stock.
• Ensures all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.
• Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships and actively promotes repeat business.
• Checks daily mise-en-place, cleanliness and restaurant set-up before service.
• Monitoring the kitchen for cleanliness and adherence to food and drink safety laws
• Strategizing with top management about new dining options and programs
• Forecasting demand to appropriately schedule of team members and to order inventory
• Arranging departmental meetings to communicate key information
• Designing customer surveys and menu items
• Managing costs to increase the profitability of the food and beverage outlets of the hotel
