In this full-time role, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Your strategic sales approach and excellent communication skills will be key to driving the growth of Safetyware's range of safety equipment and solutions.
What you'll be doing
Prospecting and generating new sales leads through networking, cold-calling, and attending industry events
Arranging and conducting in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their safety requirements and present tailored solutions
Negotiating contract terms and closing sales deals to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
Providing excellent customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
Continuously updating the sales pipeline and accurately reporting on sales activities and progress
Collaborating with the marketing team to support the development of sales materials and campaigns
Follow up payment collection
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the safety equipment or industrial supplies industry
Ability to converse in Mandarin as you are required to deal with Mandarin speaking customers is an added advantage
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective prospecting and relationship-building
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different stakeholders
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities to overcome objections and close deals
Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Familiarity with ERP systems and sales reporting tools
