Job summary

Abbott in Malaysia, Imazium, Selangor, is seeking an Associate, OTC to support divisions and in-country requirements. The role handles AR collection, customer master data approvals, and quarterly AR reporting, with emphasis on accuracy and cross-functional collaboration within a Shared Services center.

The position requires a BA in Business or Accounting and 2–3 years of credit experience, along with strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and excellent English.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Business or Accounting.
• 2–3 years of credit experience including all aspects of credit management.
• Knowledge of overall OTC processes.
• Experience in a captive SSC environment preferred.
• Experience with third-party outsource providers is an advantage.
• Ability to interact with internal and external parties at various levels.
• Attention to detail with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers for prompt collection of AR balances.
• Coordinate with commercial team to resolve collection issues and on-hold orders.
• Approve new customer creation and master data maintenance.
• Review AR aging reports and escalate as needed.
• Quarterly collection forecast to corporate treasury.
• Submit AR reports to corporate.
• Month-end AR reversals and DS0/aging reporting.
• Attend AR review meetings with business units.
