Ansell is looking for an OT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team in Cyberjaya / Sri Lanka.

In this position you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of Operational Technology (OT) within industrial environments.
This role encompasses providing expert advice, securing critical OT systems, and serving as a beacon of knowledge in the infrastructure and cybersecurity fields. The professional in this position is instrumental in protecting vital infrastructure and industrial control systems, leveraging their expertise in risk assessment, security architecture design, incident response, and compliance to uphold the resilience of essential operations.

A deep understanding of OT systems, network equipment, and networking protocols is paramount, coupled with a robust working knowledge of industry-standard security practices, especially in perimeter protection within the OT landscape.

What your role will be?
Reporting to Director, IT Administration, you will have the opportunity to:

• Solution Design and Deployment: Architect and implement robust solutions tailored for Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• Project Support: Provide critical support for OT Management and Security projects.
• Cybersecurity Analysis: Execute detailed analysis of Industrial Control Systems (SCADA, DCS, IoT) architecture and infrastructure, focusing on management and cybersecurity aspects.
• Incident Management and Response Coordination: Establish protocols and manage security incidents, ensuring rapid and effective response within OT environments.
• Collaborative Improvement and Safety Culture Promotion: Work with teams and clients to enhance OT security compliance and organize training programs to instill a culture of safety.
• Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify and mitigate risks to critical systems.
• Security Architecture and Policy Development: Design secure OT/ICS architectures and establish comprehensive security policies and procedures.
• Threat Monitoring and Security Assessments: Maintain continuous surveillance over systems and perform regular security testing to identify system weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
• Incident Response Execution and Technology Recommendation: Address OT security incidents appropriately and recommend technologies to support business needs.
• Network Security Oversight and User Awareness Training: Manage all aspects of OT network security and develop training materials to promote security awareness.
• Network Architecture Integration and Performance Monitoring: Integrate new OT network architectures and oversee network performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in cyber security or industrial.
• A Higher degree (Bachelor or Master) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science (IT) or similar.
• Strong passion for advisory and cybersecurity topics.
• Willingness to continuously self-develop.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to author technical and non-technical documents for varying audiences.
• English at the B2 level both in speaking and writing.
• Internationally recognized cyber security standards and OT Regulations (NIST-CSF, ISO27k series, NISD, NIS2 etc.).
• OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks (IEC ISA 99/62443, NIST SP 800-82, etc.).
• Network security design and technologies.
• OT / ICS systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC, EMS, etc.).
• Industrial communication protocols and technologies from main vendors (Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric etc.).
