ABOUT YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible for supporting manufacturing-related business applications and infrastructure. As part of the BCP infrastructure team, you will propose innovative solutions and collaborate closely with site leaders and zone managers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Providing day-to-day systems support and maintaining service levels.
- Serving as an expert in the maintenance of systems infrastructure and recovery methods for systems running MS Windows, MSSQL, VMware, LAN devices, databases, and application processes.
- Advising on lifecycle management for infrastructure and manufacturing applications and interfaces.
- Recommending new technologies and system infrastructure improvements.
- Performing system upgrades for security and problem resolution.
- Conducting disaster recovery in accordance with established procedures.
- Providing third-level support and advanced analysis.
- Estimating timeframes for problem resolution.
- Organizing or contributing to projects and prioritizing tasks for project completion.
- Adhering to IS standards, including change management protocols.
- Staying updated with corporate IT regulations (security, privacy) and applying them appropriately.
- Managing configuration and capacity of IT infrastructure.
- Maintaining infrastructure for automated and manual monitoring procedures.
- Instructing outsourced partners (e.g., TCS) as part of change management.
- Providing technical support to users and IT staff, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and training.
- Offering emergency support for business and operations units.
- Providing critical support for P1/P2 incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- At least 6 years of experience, with 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skilled in evaluating options and generating solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Results-oriented and dynamic problem solver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel 20-30% to support operations as needed.
