ABOUT YOUR ROLE

You will support manufacturing applications and infrastructure, advising on business needs. As part of the BCP infrastructure team, you will propose innovative solutions and collaborate closely with site leaders and zone managers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Providing day-to-day system support and maintaining service levels
• Acting as an expert in system infrastructure maintenance and recovery methods for systems running MS Windows, MSSQL, VMware, LAN devices, databases, and applications
• Advising on lifecycle management for infrastructure and manufacturing applications and interfaces
• Recommending new technologies and system infrastructure improvements
• Performing system upgrades for security and problem resolution
• Conducting disaster recovery in line with existing procedures
• Providing third-level support and advanced analysis
• Estimating timeframes for problem resolution
• Contributing to or organizing projects
• Prioritizing tasks for project completion
• Adhering to IS standards, including change management
• Staying updated with corporate IT security and privacy regulations and applying them as appropriate
• Managing configuration and capacity of IT infrastructure
• Maintaining infrastructure for automated and manual monitoring procedures
• Instructing outsource partners (e.g., TCS) in change management processes
• Providing technical support to users and IT staff, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and training
• Offering emergency support for business units, including P1/P2 incidents

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Strong evaluation and solution-generation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Results-oriented and dynamic problem solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel 20-30% as needed
