Job summary

Randstad Malaysia represents our client in recruiting senior academic staff for orthopaedics and musculoskeletal sciences. We are seeking Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor to join the growing team and shape future healthcare professionals.

The role involves delivering lectures, supervising clinical placements, developing teaching materials, contributing to curriculum reviews, research and publications, and supporting accreditation and student recruitment.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by MMC.
• Master's degree in Orthopaedics or related specialty (PhD is an added advantage).
• Valid APC and professional registration.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical and/or teaching experience.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and presentation skills.
• Experience in curriculum development and research will be an advantage.
• NSR registration in Orthopaedics.
• Research publications in indexed journals.
• Experience in a higher education environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical, and clinical teaching in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal sciences.
• Supervise students during clinical placements and practical sessions.
• Develop teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
• Participate in curriculum review and academic quality assurance.
• Supervise student research projects and academic activities.
• Contribute to research, publications, and professional development.
