Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Expert with in-depth expertise in Oracle APEX (Application Express), Oracle Forms, and overall Oracle application development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Oracle-based solutions. They should possess a strong understanding of database systems, application frameworks, and business processes to deliver scalable and robust solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Development

Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications, including custom page layouts, reports, and dynamic actions.

Design and customize Oracle Forms and Reports to enhance application functionality.

Develop PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications.

Build user-friendly interfaces and integrate third-party tools into Oracle applications.

2. System Analysis & Design

Gather and analyze business requirements to design technical solutions.

Create technical documentation, including system design, workflows, and architecture diagrams.

Provide recommendations on Oracle best practices to enhance application performance and security.

3. Database Management

Develop and optimize database schemas, tables, views, and indexes for high-performance applications.

Write complex SQL queries and perform performance tuning for database operations.

Ensure database integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies.

4. Testing & Quality Assurance

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure system stability.

Debug and resolve technical issues across Oracle APEX and Forms platforms.

Review and validate code for consistency with coding standards.

5. Maintenance & Support

Monitor and troubleshoot application and database issues to minimize downtime.

Provide ongoing maintenance and upgrades to Oracle applications.

Train users and stakeholders on system functionality and usage.

Technical Skills:

Oracle APEX: Proficient in building web applications, reports, and dashboards using APEX.

Oracle Forms & Reports: Advanced skills in developing, maintaining, and customizing Oracle Forms and Reports.

PL/SQL Programming: Expertise in writing stored procedures, packages, and triggers.

Database Management: Strong skills in Oracle Database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.

Integration: Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services for system integration.

Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion is an added advantage.

Soft Skills:

Qualifications:
