The role demands expert knowledge of Oracle Database, RAC, Data Guard, OEM, and high availability, with 7+ years of DBA/consultant experience and willingness to travel 10–25%. Availability for 24x7 support is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Database as a DBA/Consultant/Support Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Database 11g to 23Ai.
• Experience implementing high availability features.
• Experience in OEM 11g/12c/13c is a plus.
• Some travel may be required (10-25%).

Hiring for Oracle Database Admin -Malaysia

solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Further, the Advanced Services Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.

Available to work in 24X7 capability.

Strong Performance tuning skills - Query level tuning / DB tuning / Memory level tuning.

Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data guard, Backup & Recovery etc.

Strong DBA skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g to 23Ai.

Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Database.

Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 11g/12c/13c is a plus.

Knowledge on DB Security viz. AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, TDE would be added advantage.

Sharp technical fixing skills.

Good understanding of Oracle support processes.

Ability to manage advanced technical situations & develop action plans.

Ability to spot proactive services that benefit of customer

Ability to facilitate issues with Development and Support

Strong analytical skills

7+ years of experience with Oracle Database as an DBA/Consultant/Support Engineer

Oracle OCP DBA / OCI / ADB Certification - Preferred

Some travel may be required (10-25%)
