Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Optometrist to join our growing team.

This role involves conducting thorough eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, providing professional advice, and offering surgery counseling (e.g., LASIK, ICL, cataract). You will also assist with patient communication and ensure excellent service delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Conduct eye tests and assess visual acuity
2. Diagnose and manage visual issues (e.g., near-sightedness, color blindness)
3. Prescribe corrective lenses or medications
4. Educate patients on proper eye care and post-surgery care
5. Perform surgery package counseling (LASIK/ICL/Cataract)
6. Coordinate with suppliers for surgery-related items
7. Handle patient inquiries via calls, emails, and social media (including after-hours, on rotation)
8. Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment calibration

What We’re Looking For

• Degree/Diploma/Professional Certification in Optometry
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu
• Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred to serve Mandarin-speaking patients
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
