About the role

KRISTAL OPTOMETRIST' is seeking a talented and dedicated Optometrist to join our team in Kulim Kedah. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and treating vision-related conditions, and recommending appropriate corrective lenses or treatments to our patients. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough eye examinations to assess patients' vision and eye health
• Diagnosing and treating vision-related conditions, such as refractive errors, eye diseases, and visual impairments
• Prescribing and fitting corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Educating patients on proper eye care, vision health, and the use of corrective devices
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists, to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

• A Bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification
• A valid license to practice as an Optometrist in Malaysia
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills, with a strong understanding of the latest optometric technologies and treatments
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and build trust with patients
• A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and addressing vision-related issues
