Thermo Scientific Microbiology Sdn Bhd under Microbiology Division in Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a suitable candidate for a Production Operator role.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete and co-ordinate all production activities to meet manufacturing goals through efficient use of resources (i.e. workforce, materials, machines, and methodologies) in a safe and healthy working environment.
2. Assist in the production process, including:

• weighing and preparation of raw materials and equipment for sterilization
• set up equipment used in the laboratory and maintain it in a clean and safe condition
• media pouring (machine and manual)
• media labelling, packing, and storage

Education:

Secondary school (SPM) or equivalent is minimally required.

Experience:

Some production experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and do multi-task.
• Good interpersonal personality and hard-working.
• Have basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Demonstrate punctuality and sense of responsibility through adherence to attendance guidelines.
