Operations Supervisor (Warehouse)

To oversee day-to-day warehouse activities and ensure effective support for operations.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.

Maintain item records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.

Ensure the Distribution Centre(s) complies with and maintains all Food Safety Management Standards, Good Warehouse Practice, Quality Management System (QMS), Social Workplace Accountability (SWA), and Distribution Quality Management Process (DQMP).

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods.

Ensure the Distribution Centre/Warehouse complies with GWP / DQMP standards.

Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards at all times.

Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputting data.

Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.

Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements.

Coordinate closely with shipping to ensure timely deliveries.

Perform other ad-hoc activities or assignments as directed by the Warehouse Executive or Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum SPM/Diploma in logistics management or equivalent.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a warehousing environment.

Experience working in a multi-temperature warehouse is an advantage.

Familiar with shipping, logistics activities, and related procedures.

Willing to work on shift basis, including weekends and festive seasons.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills for dealing with internal and external parties.

Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, oral and written.

Excellent computer skills, including Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Proactive, result-oriented, and a good team player.

Ability to communicate effectively with people at different levels.

Willing to work 6 days with a 3-shift pattern at Bukit Raja, Klang.
