Job description

Operations Quality Senior Team Leader

Date: May 6, 2025

To lead the quality activities at the Tampoi site for the weldment & frame project.

Detailed Description
  • Leads the resolution of customer and internal issues regarding product quality, with the aim of achieving zero defects.
  • Generates formal reports for disciplined root-cause analysis and corrective actions (i.e., 8D methodology).
  • Leads the resolution of internal non-conforming materials using advanced quality tools and problem-solving techniques, following established policies and procedures.
  • Executes experiments and implements process/raw material/specification changes through Change Control activities to resolve supply chain problems & customer issues, reducing process/material variation and cost.
  • Updates customers promptly regarding the status of quality issues or requests.
  • Informs the quality management team about customer feedback and expectations regarding product quality.
  • Prepares and maintains product quality documentation based on ISO standards.
  • Develops product quality processes aligned with ISO standards.
  • Manages and coordinates ISO audits.
  • Interfaces with Product Management & Process Development Engineering during the Stage Gate process for transferring newly commercialized products to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Requires six to eight+ years of engineering experience in Project Management, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering within the semiconductor industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background in statistics and quality tools preferred, including familiarity with SPC principles and application to batch processes. Proficient in problem-solving techniques such as DOE, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MCA, etc.
  • Knowledge of test methodologies and equipment, with a thorough understanding of test variability effects.
  • Experience in inspecting welding, powder coating, or painting in semiconductor fabrication is an added advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of semiconductor best practices and industrial quality standards.
  • Ability to read product and component drawings and specifications, with hands-on experience measuring parts with relevant instruments.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
