Job summary

Career Wise in Penang, Malaysia seeks an experienced Operations Planning & Controlling specialist to oversee loading and delivery management within a semiconductor manufacturing setting.

You will drive daily loading plans, coordinate with subcontractors, monitor WIP/CT, and support continuity initiatives while interfacing with Engineering and QA to address yield or quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering or any business-related course.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of logistics and IT tools (SAP, Workstream).
• Customer-focused with understanding of SCM and inventory control.
• 3–5 years planning, coordination and scheduling in manufacturing, preferably semiconductor.

Responsibilities

• Loading management: plan vs. actual loading and capacity to meet demand.
• Delivery management: ensure on-time delivery and coordinate wafer flow with subcontractors.
• WIP/CT management and ERP updates (SAP/PGS) to reflect stock and line status.
• Interface for Biz Continuity; improve delivery metrics and align with sub‑contractors.
• Coordinate with Engineering and QA for yield/quality issues and manage expedites.

Job Description

a. Loading management

• Key interface to Subcon for loading / deliver; monitor loading versus capacity and work with Supply Chain Planning for any disconnect:
• Plan vs. Actual Loading
• Wafer Supply
• Capacity Limitation

b. Delivery management

• Assess wafer supply to support the demand/firm planned order through push and pull collaborative method covering in-transit die and stock inventory at subcontractor's diebank. Track and monitor wafer arrival needed to support loading and ensure on time GR.

c. Loading management

• Daily Line Loading based on demand target, capacity and materials:
• Daily Build Instruction plan to Data Analysts
• Review loading to subcontractors to align requirements

d. Delivery management

• Monitor Supply Chain flow of inventory through: WIP, PROD/SFLA status, Line Priority, On time delivery, Fast tracks, customer line down, expedites, Recovery plans, Special shipment arrangement, Rework lots, Supplier PROD issues and Infineon Planning related inside FF.

e. Biz Continuity Interface

• Drive improvement of delivery metrics towards meeting goals and conducts weekly/regular alignment meeting with subcontractors:
• RAW CLIP OP Driven
• Assembly CLIP
• Cycle Time

f. BEST/PLO management

• Review BEST Commit in alignment with FC/PP Commit and Loading/Demand Plans to ensure alignment of customer requirements. Attends to expedite/upside requests from Business Unit/Divisions, coordinate with Engineering and QA for yield or quality issue/s.

g. WIP / CT management / ORM support

• Non-PIO: Regular subcontractors inventory audit and Reconciliation of Inventory (Die bank + WIP) with Finance and subcon partners. Regular update on CT and collaborate the change in SAP/PGS+.

h. PRAW management

• PR/PRAW Submission for Production Shipments and other related defined planning topics.

i. Biz Continuity Interface

• Manage supplier in systems integration and new Supply Chain projects, i.e.:
• Global Production Network (GPN)
• One SAP

Qualifications / Skills

• Graduate of Engineering or any business-related course.
• Effective writing and communications skills and able to interact with all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software with good knowledge on logistics, business process and relevant IT tools (SAP, Workstream).
• Customer oriented and good understanding of Supply Chain process, inventory control and management.
• Good level of pro-activeness and able to handle subcon to management discussion.
• 3 to 5 years of planning, coordination and scheduling production experience in manufacturing environment, preferably semiconductor industry.
