We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager – Retail to oversee our retail store operations. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving sales performance, and delivering exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to managing retail operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily retail operations to ensure efficiency and profitability across all stores in Malaysia.
  • Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Plan and implement marketing and promotional activities to boost customer engagement and revenue.
  • Develop and improve operational processes, systems, and SOPs for optimal performance.
  • Lead and support Retail and Store Managers in achieving business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor store management teams to uphold service and operational standards.
  • Monitor staff productivity and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct regular store audits for compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory, pricing, and merchandise availability to optimize sales.
  • Address customer complaints promptly to maintain a positive shopping experience.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements across all stores.
  • Oversee store expansion projects and outsourced services to maintain operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, preferably within the fashion industry.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Sales-oriented with a strong understanding of customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required. Also, open to travel within Malaysia for store visits and other store-based activities as required.
  • Excellent command of English & Bahasa Melayu (both written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results driven.
