Company Background:

We are representing a leading public-listedmanufacturer and supplier of various steel products,looking foran Operations Manager to be based in Jenjarom, Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily operations to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with company policies. Create schedules and allocate resources to meet workload demands.
  • Coordinate between departments to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the efficiencyof warehousereceipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Implement and manage inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and safety.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment while adhering to quality and delivery standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline workflows.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in operation and warehouse processes.
  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and recommendcontinuous improvement initiatives in both warehouse and operational workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehouse and develop safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office).
  • Certification in production and inventory management is a plus.
  • Able to speak and write English and Mandarin (due to business nature).

Working hours : Mon - Fri (8.30am - 6.00pm)
