The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety while meeting production targets. This role involves optimizing processes, managing resources, leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability.
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluating and improving operational processes to streamline workflow and increase productivity.
- People Management & Leadership: Lead, mentor and motivate supervisors, production staff and cross-functional teams. Foster a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement mindset. Conduct performance reviews, encourage transparency and immediate feedback for area of improvement. Drive RBA standard and compliance.
- Budget Planning & Costing Control: Plan and manage budgets, ensure operational costs are controlled while meeting organizational goals.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting: Collaborating with management to develop operational strategies that align with the company’s objectives. Prepare and present operational reports, performance metrics and improvement plans.
- Quality Control: Continuous improvement on quality control measures to ensure products and services achieve established standards and customer expectations.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Regulatory & SOP Compliance: Ensuring that all operations comply with industry regulations and standards, thereby mitigating risks.
- Data Analysis: Utilizing metrics and performance indicators to analyze operational efficiency and inform decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and foster a positive relationship with external customer, supplier and internal management team.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree, PMP Certification Bachelor’s Degree preferrable in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering
- 7+ years & above of experience in a manufacturing operation, supply chain & project management with at least 3 years in operations manager role.
