About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join KES International Sdn Bhd in Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products to our customers. Your strategic leadership will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and optimising our operational processes.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing operational strategies to support the overall business objectives
2. Managing and coordinating all aspects of the company's operations, including production, logistics, inventory control, and quality assurance
3. Identifying and addressing operational issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
4. Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to optimise workflow and streamline operations
5. Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to track operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement
6. Providing strong leadership and mentoring to the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar PCBA operations management role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and production planning
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions
• Proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence
• Proficient in data analysis and the use of performance management tools to drive continuous improvement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electronics engineering.

We are a public-listed company in Singapore expanding our manufacturing operations into Johor. We are seeking an Operations Manager with experience in PCBA manufacturing to oversee production, process engineering, planning, purchasing, and facilities.

The position may be permanent or temporary, depending on the availability of a suitable candidate. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, leadership skills, and experience with ISO standards. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Preference will be given to individuals currently based in Johor, to support close collaboration with our Singapore headquarters.
