A leading company in the travel industry is looking for an Operations Executive to manage tours and enhance customer experience through excellent communication and operational support. This position requires coordination with various stakeholders, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, offering a chance for fresh graduates to get started in a dynamic field.
• Manage daily tour operations (FITs & Group Tours).
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers: transport, accommodation, meals, activities.
• Liaise with tour guides, drivers, and other ground support staff.
• Handle booking confirmations, reservations, and issuance of service vouchers.
• Ensure all travel documents (itinerary, insurance, invoices) are accurate and timely.
• Attend to client inquiries related to tour operations before, during, and after the trip.
• Provide 24/7 operational support for group departures when necessary.
• Handle special requests, changes, or emergencies during trips.
• Monitor and follow up on customer feedback post-travel.
3. Administrative Duties
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, manifests, and costing sheets.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor supplier payments.
• Assist in processing refunds or travel amendments.
4. Design & Marketing Support
• Prepare visually appealing travel itineraries, posters, and basic promotional content.
• Support the marketing team with design work for social media or presentations.
• Ensure consistency in Monya’s branding and presentation style.
5. Product Development & Improvement
• Work with the sales/marketing team to develop new travel products.
• Conduct destination research and inspect suppliers/services for quality assurance.
• Help improve operational SOPs for better efficiency and customer experience.
6. Others
• Attend internal team briefings, training sessions, and industry events.
• Standby for operational support during weekends or public holidays (when required).
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome, but experience in tour operations is preferred.
Skills:
• Strong communication (English, Chinese; Malay is a bonus). We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Able to multitask, manage timelines and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and good with documentation.
• Basic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word).
• Experience with travel software/systems is an added advantage.

• Working Days: Monday – Friday (Sat if required during peak season)
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility required during operations)
