Overview

Operations Executive (Product Support and Services) - We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Product Support and Services team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with fund houses, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders, while gaining hands-on experience in fund administration and back-office operations within the asset management industry.

Responsibilities
  • Fund & Bond Onboarding & Setup: Manage the complete onboarding process for both funds and bonds onto the platform, ensuring accurate data entry, proper documentation, and timely lodgment. Verify and maintain the accuracy of fund-related information, including fund prices, income distribution details, documents, and fund sizes.
  • Back Office Support: Provide operational support to external providers by preparing bank reconciliations, validating system-generated reports, updating account statuses, and ensuring all scheduled jobs are completed on time.
  • Payment Services & Operations: Coordinate with internal departments (Compliance, IT, Finance, Customer Service) and external stakeholders (e.g., PayNet, VISA/Mastercard, card vendors, processors, payment partners) to ensure readiness and success of product rollouts. Monitor and manage end-to-end payment processes (wallet top-ups, transfers, QR payments, remittances, card transactions) to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and seamless customer experience. Track and analyze transaction trends across different payment channels, ensuring high system availability and timely issue resolution. Ensure timely settlement and reconciliation of all payment transactions, coordinating closely with Finance and system teams. Analyze and process dispute-related activities (chargebacks, representments, pre-arbitrations, arbitrations, compliance cases) within card networks and payment schemes. Investigate rejected chargeback and payment transactions, pursuing recovery opportunities where applicable. Support ongoing fraud monitoring and alert handling for remittance transactions. Collaborate with Risk/Compliance teams to investigate and mitigate suspicious or unusual activity.
  • Customer & Operational Support: Provide backend operational support to Customer Service teams, including handling of failed transactions, card reissuance, account blocking/unblocking, and transaction inquiries. Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to payments and card services in a timely and professional manner. Address enquiries from internal departments and liaise effectively with external parties such as banks and fund houses to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy / Banking & Finance / Business administration.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience within the financial services or capital market industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word will be an added advantage.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
  • High level of attention to detail, hardworking and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Able to work independently, reliable and always take initiative.
