Job description

Be part of a brand new, AI- and tech-driven factory team. We’re setting up a new factory in Johor Bahru, and we’re looking for a capable and tech-savvy Operations Executive to join us at this exciting stage of growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys using technology and AI tools to make work more efficient, and is able to work independently.

As part of our core team, you’ll be instrumental in laying the groundwork for smooth day-to-day operations, across logistics, procurement, internal coordination, and customer communications. You’ll get hands-on experience supporting both our Malaysia and Singapore HQ teams, and play a critical role in building systems that scale.

Please note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must have existing work authorisation in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with our internal software systems to maintain precise project and production records.
  2. Coordinate with delivery partners and forwarders to ensure timely and accurate shipments to both local and international customers.
  3. Handle daily inbound calls and written communications from Malaysia and Singapore customers.
  4. Support the Factory Manager in managing raw material imports and ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  5. Oversee procurement of office and operational supplies, ensuring timely ordering and cost efficiency.
  6. Collaborate with the finance team to process payments, bills, and claims promptly.
  7. Take ownership of ad-hoc administrative tasks and execute them independently after initial training.

Required Qualifications

  1. Must already have existing work authorisation for Malaysia.
  2. Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  3. Fluent in spoken Mandarin Chinese.
  4. No prior experience required—we’re looking for fast learners who are excited to grow.
  5. Tech-savvy and able to pick up new software and ERP systems with minimal guidance.
  6. Proficient with AI tools to improve task efficiency.
  7. Strong working knowledge of Google Docs and other productivity tools.
  8. Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  9. Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.
  10. Preferred: Experience with imports/exports, freight forwarders, or logistics is a bonus.
