Job description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The International Business Operations Executive is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day operational tasks related to international trade, logistics, and compliance. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless cross-border transactions, efficient supply chain coordination, and regulatory adherence to support global business growth.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Coordinate and monitor international order processing and fulfillment.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics and shipping activities, including liaising with freight forwarders, customs agents, and 3PL providers.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate trade documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, import/export regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Track shipment statuses and proactively resolve delays or issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, finance, warehousing) to support smooth international operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date SOPs and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Timely and accurate delivery of international shipments.
  • 100% compliance with trade regulations and documentation standards.
  • Regular performance and cost tracking reports.
  • Documented resolutions of operational issues.
  • Continuous improvement proposals and process updates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in international operations, logistics, supply chain, or trade compliance.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
