About the Role

You will oversee food deliveries, assisting drivers by addressing their concerns, responding to their inquiries, and providing effective solutions. Additionally, you will regularly coordinate with our partner restaurants and caterers to ensure a seamless pickup process.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Delivery Monitoring
• Monitor delivery progress to ensure timely execution and adherence to schedules
• Proactively resolve issues encountered by drivers or vendors through prompt action and communication
• Respond quickly to unforeseen disruptions (e.g., traffic delays, vehicle issues, last-minute cancellations)
• Make timely and sound decisions to minimize impact on delivery timelines and customer experience

Driver Supervision & Performance Management
• Oversee daily operations of a fleet of drivers, ensuring compliance with SOPs and timely task completion
• Enforce disciplinary measures for non-compliance when necessary
• Communicate schedules, expectations, and policies clearly to ensure smooth operations

Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Ensure drivers uphold hygiene, branding, customer service, and safety standards
• Maintain a consistent and high-quality delivery experience

Team Leadership & Training
• Motivate and guide the driver team to maintain productivity and a positive work environment
• Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training sessions

Process Improvement
• Contribute to continuous improvement by developing mechanisms that enhance operational efficiency and the delivery experience

Record Maintenance & Reporting
• Maintain accurate operational records for the logistics department
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on performance and challenges
• Ensure all delivery data, task entries, and reports are accurate and updated in a timely manner
• Conduct regular checks on delivery records, driver updates, and system inputs to maintain operational integrity

Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise with internal teams, planners, managers, and external partners to support and optimize delivery operations

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery operations.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with delivery management software and tools is an advantage.
