Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Executive to support our Retail Operations Manager in the daily running of Floristika’s retail and back-end operations. You’ll help keep things flowing smoothly — from managing stock and handling products to ensuring the retail floor always looks its best. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for flowers, plants, and efficient operations, we’d love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities
  • Retail & Inventory Operations: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods (fresh flowers, plants, and supplies) for quality and quantity.
  • Perform hydration, trimming, and conditioning of flowers upon arrival.
  • Label and stock items accurately using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in cold rooms, prep areas, and storage spaces.
  • Set up and restock the retail space with attractive, price-tagged displays.
  • Prepare and pack flowers and foliage for export shipments, ensuring quality and proper documentation.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reporting.
  • Support walk-in sales fulfilment and ad-hoc packing requests.
  • Coordinate with gardeners, customer service, and purchasing on plant rental maintenance and availability.
  • Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or retail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Computer literate and comfortable using retail systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is an added advantage.
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Willing to work on rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Passionate about flowers, plants, and delivering a great customer experience.
