Job summary

A leading company in Johor is seeking a Logistics and Operations Coordinator to handle various administrative and logistical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and logistics expertise, having at least 2-3 years of relevant experience or being a fresh graduate. Your role will include managing stock take, customer inquiries, and shipping documentation while supporting service engineers and maintaining project records. Candidates with a diploma or degree in Business or Logistics are preferred, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Job description

About The Role:

  • Perform stock take, adjustments, reorder reports, and landed cost reports.
  • Update warranty records for machines and spare parts; handle warranty claims and related documentation.
  • Manage courier bookings, packing, and shipment tracking; liaise with transport companies and prepare shipping documents for export/import.
  • Compile and organize quotation, invoices, credit notes, and supporting documents for LC, and account purposes.
  • Handle customer inquiries, issue PIs/quotations, invoices, and purchase orders; order spare parts for customers.
  • Process MITI, COO, insurance applications, and LC presentations; liaise with relevant authorities.
  • Maintain engineers' travel records, visas, and project documentation.
  • Support service engineers and update shipment/ customer communication.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Communication skills
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or administrative roles.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good commercial awareness with pragmatic approach to balance cost and value.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
  • Multitasking ability.

Language: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken). Additional language skills are an advantage.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday || 9am - 6:30pm
