Operations Director (C)

We are seeking for a seasoned and operationally focused Operations Director to lead and optimize the end-to-end manufacturing operations of a well-established contract manufacturing business. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction across a highly customized production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring alignment with business goals related to production output, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and processes to optimize efficiency, throughput, and flexibility.
• Motivate, mentor, and develop plant personnel to achieve high-performance standards and support organizational culture.
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team on strategic planning, risk management, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Drive adherence to internal policies and external compliance requirements relating to quality, environmental health & safety (EHS), and regulatory standards.
• Champion and sustain a continuous improvement culture, utilizing lean manufacturing, 5S, and other productivity-enhancing methodologies.
• Build robust performance metrics to monitor output, cost efficiency, inventory control, and customer fulfilment.
• Ensure the implementation of safety protocols, security measures, and employee training programs, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
• Foster strong relationships across departments (engineering, procurement, quality, HR, and finance) to align operational efforts with overall business success.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with significant tenure in the electronics industry.
• Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role overseeing plant or multi-site operations.
• Strong understanding of high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments, with experience managing facilities that operate with limited automation.
• Highly skilled in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and driving operational improvements under pressure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
