Job Description: Operations Coordinator at CEVA Lead Logistics (CLL)

At CEVA Lead Logistics (CLL), we provide customers with outstanding visibility and control across their entire supply chain. Our operations teams, located across the globe in our Control Towers, offer services including supplier and order management, transport planning and monitoring, as well as performance and freight cost management.

Based in one of CLL’s regional Control Towers and reporting to the Control Tower Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager, this role oversees daily operations within the control tower to ensure on-time delivery and timely follow-ups with suppliers and stakeholders. Responsibilities include shipment booking, event (milestone) management, and escalation of issues.

This role ensures operational services are executed effectively and efficiently across various transport service providers and modes, maintaining high quality standards and meeting performance and cost targets.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Day-to-day Operations:
    • Act as the first point of contact for customers, carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders during daily operations.
    • Handle customer orders, related documentation, and transport bookings with carriers according to routing and service levels.
    • Monitor transport execution to ensure adherence to standards and work instructions.
  2. Request and Incident Management:
    • Manage customer requests and supply chain disruptions.
    • Inform and escalate issues to supervisors and relevant stakeholders promptly.
  3. Visibility and Event Management:
    • Ensure timely and accurate tracking updates from suppliers and carriers.
    • Follow up on missing events and investigate data inconsistencies.
  4. Reporting and Performance Measurement:
    • Assist in preparing reports, monthly reviews, and business reviews.
    • Analyze KPIs and reports to identify improvement areas.
    • Support onboarding of new suppliers to ensure compliance with processes and SOPs.
  5. Process Governance:
    • Follow all relevant SOPs, work instructions, and procedures.
    • Support process and policy changes as directed by process owners.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, or Commerce.
  • Experience in freight forwarding logistics and international supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of transportation and warehouse management systems.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to complete tasks efficiently and be a team player.
  • Dependable, reliable, with good time management skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Willing to support work outside regular hours occasionally.
