Job summary

Verdant Solar is seeking an O&M Engineer Executive to act as an independent on-site operator, monitor solar plant performance, and lead preventive maintenance. You will supervise cleaning crews, analyze alarms, and support engineers and clients with practical troubleshooting.

You will generate post-service reports, coordinate with Supply Chain for parts, ensure PPE compliance, and handle ad hoc tasks with precision, contributing to reliable system uptime.

Responsibilities

• System Performance & Troubleshooting: Monitor daily alarms, analyze software trends for Low Peak Performance (LPP), and perform basic inverter troubleshooting.
• Maintenance Execution: Supervise the panel cleaning team on-site, conduct preventive inspections, and identify or repair minor electrical faults (e.g., fuses).
• Reporting & Coordination: Generate post-service O&M reports, assist engineers during complex repairs, and coordinate with Supply Chain for parts.
• Safety & Client Support: Enforce strict PPE compliance on-site and assist in answering basic customer inquiries regarding outages or performance.
• Adhoc Tasks: Ensure all ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors are completed efficiently and with attention to detail, supporting overall team performance.
