Overview of the role
The 2.OX/Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for driving and coordinating the implementation of the 2.OX/Operational Excellence strategy across the factory, ensuring alignment with the Operational Master Plan (OMP). This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including factory leadership, pillar leaders, and external consultants, to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence Strategy: Develop and implement the 2.OX/Operational Excellence model, ensuring alignment with the factory's Operational Master Plan (OMP) and driving consistent deployment across the factory.
- Coordination & Leadership: Work with the 2.OX/Operational Excellence Steering Committee, site coordinators, and pillar leaders to drive the strategy and integrate it with factory operations. Provide leadership and coaching to managers, pillar leaders, and teams (e.g., AM, PM, FI).
- Promotion & Communication: Lead the promotion campaign for 2.OX/Operational Excellence, communicating success stories and results. Motivate and empower employees to embrace a "Zero Mindset" and foster a culture change.
- Integration with Other Initiatives: Integrate 2.OX/Operational Excellence with other factory initiatives (e.g., QMS) and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
- Training & Development: Coordinate and conduct 2.OX/Operational Excellence training at the factory level, ensuring that all employees understand the pillars and master plan.
- Performance Monitoring: Lead internal assessments of 2.OX/Operational Excellence progress, monitor execution, and provide feedback to the Steering Committee. Ensure alignment and calibration of assessments across pillars.
- External Support: Coordinate the involvement of external consultants if needed.
- Cultural Transformation: Drive change by promoting a culture of continuous improvement and fostering a positive, results-driven environment.
Qualification & other requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Productivity, Quality Management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge and experience in TPM, WCM, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
- Train-the-trainer and facilitation skills.
- Strong influencing and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of business needs and change management.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and committed.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Results-driven with strong management skills and a positive attitude.
- Team player, able to work under pressure.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in English - both written and spoken.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
