Job description

What's the role?

As Operational Buyer, you will manage day-to-day purchase-to-pay operational activities such as PO management, vendor master maintenance, ad hoc sourcing, complaints handling, and users’ support. You will be responsible for driving SLA fulfilment and operations efficiency and compliance. You will optimize material groups in collaboration with the strategic category manager as well as support national and international procurement projects.

What does the role involve?
  • Autonomous procurement and administration within the given field of responsibility (e.g. maintenance of prices, conditions, and bill of materials, conducting purchase requisitions, evaluation of quotations, processing limit orders, delivery date tracking, invoice control, etc.)
  • Supplier negotiations
  • Interact with internal stakeholders (consulting, support)
  • Proactive management of the interface between internal requisitioners and external partners (suppliers, service providers, etc.)
  • Substitute for colleagues during times of sickness and vacation
What you need is:
  • Bachelor's degree / Masters in procurement, supply chain, IT, business, or finance
  • 2+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, finance, or project management
  • Good stakeholders' management skills
  • Strong in systems & tools
  • Resourceful
