Operation Production Manager

CKD Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Operation Production Manager to join their team in Kulim Hi-Tech Park Kedah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the company's production processes.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and coordinate all production-related activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
2. Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity
3. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
4. Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure seamless operations
5. Identify and address any production-related issues or bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimise workflows
6. Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and support as needed
7. Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
2. Experience working in a Japanese company is preferred
3. Experience working in a cleanroom environment
4. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles
5. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with effective communication and problem-solving skills
6. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality management methodologies
7. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and address production-related issues
8. Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
9. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
