Operation Manager (Khong Guan Vegetable Oil Refinery Sdn. Bhd.)

Lead the production team to meet key performance indicators, mainly productivity, cost, quality, and on-time delivery.

Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day operations effectively.

Allocate resources efficiently and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.

Regularly monitor the factory floor to ensure employees are performing their assigned tasks.

Increase production, asset capability, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards.

Implement machine maintenance operating procedures.

Monitor and control waste of raw and packing materials.

Meet sales volume targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Analyze sales trends for each product, particularly local sales, and collaborate with the sales team to meet customer expectations and demands.

Monitor supply and demand, especially during peak seasons, and plan production schedules accordingly.

Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

Manage quality programs by creating and enforcing quality control standards and ensuring the factory team adheres to them.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and work with QA/QC teams to improve quality.

Ensure compliance with MESTI and HALAL regulations.

Work Environment, Safety, and Health

Develop and enforce safety procedures and standards.

Ensure compliance with legal regulations and standards such as GMP, HALAL, BOMBA, and JKKP.

Job Specification / Requirements :

• Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact at all organizational levels and foster team collaboration.
• Experience in the oil industry is an advantage.
