About the role

As the Operation & Maintenance Supervisor at HI-TECH FILTERS SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's production facilities. This full-time position is based in Ipoh, Perak, and involves overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the company's filters and related equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the operation and maintenance activities of the production equipment and facilities
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment
• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or breakdowns in a timely manner
• Monitoring and analysing production data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation
• Liaising with the production team and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication
• Providing technical guidance and training to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar operation and maintenance supervisory role, preferably in the engineering/manufacturing industry
• Strong technical expertise in the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment and machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in project management and team coordination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
