Job description

We are an electrical goods trading company dealing with local and overseas customers and suppliers. We invite passionate candidates to join our expanding team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for import, export, and local shipments arrangement, including preparation of shipping documentation and review of export declaration and import clearance documents submitted by forwarders.
  2. Monitor shipment schedules, track cargo movement, and address any issues or delays proactively.
  3. Process customer purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
  4. Monitor purchase orders to suppliers and delivery dates.
  5. Handle daily administrative tasks, including issuing sales orders, delivery orders, invoices, and preparing packing labels.
  6. Prepare quotations and purchase orders when required.
  7. Maintain proper filing for all records for easy retrieval.
  8. Attend to walk-in guests/customers.
  9. Assist and support directors in other ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 years of relevant experience, especially in logistics arrangements.
  3. Proficient in reading, writing, and conversing in English and Malay for liaising with overseas and local customers/suppliers.
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SQL accounting system is an advantage.
