A leading company in Kuantan is seeking an Operations Executive to manage outlet operations, enhance customer engagement, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience and a passion for retail excellence, contributing to a positive team environment.
Take charge of opening and closing procedures, ensuring the outlet is fully operational and ready for customers.
Monitor day-to-day floor activities, especially in handling frozen goods and perishables, to ensure smooth flow and safety.
Support backend tasks like stock receiving and system entry to keep operations accurate and up-to-date.
Maintain stock presentation by checking pricing labels, expiry dates, and shelf readiness.
2. Customer Engagement & Sales
Be present on the floor to assist customers, suggest suitable products, and encourage add-on sales.
Respond quickly to customer concerns, creating a positive and helpful shopping experience.
Work alongside the team during promotions or peak seasons to push campaign visibility and product highlights.
3. Team Support & Coordination
Help coordinate shift coverage, especially during busy periods or unexpected staff shortages.
Provide hands-on assistance to new team members, helping them adapt to the outlet’s flow and standards.
Foster a positive team environment by keeping communication open and ensuring shared responsibilities are met.
4. Store Standards & Compliance
Conduct daily walk-throughs to make sure hygiene, product handling, and safety protocols are being followed.
Check all cold storage and equipment for functionality, temperature accuracy, and cleanliness.
Stay updated with relevant food safety rules and help the team stay audit-ready at all times.
5. Reporting & Stock Monitoring
Record daily activities including sales performance, inventory updates, and staff attendance.
Alert management on any stock discrepancies or unusual customer feedback.
Contribute to monthly reporting by providing on-ground insights and operational observations.
6. Visual Merchandising & In-Store Promotions
Arrange products according to planograms or promotional themes to attract customer interest.
Ensure all displays are neat, appealing, and aligned with marketing plans.
Support seasonal changes in layout or signage as guided by the head office or outlet manager.
7. Other Duties
Step in to support any department when needed — from cashiering to stockroom help — to keep things running smoothly.
Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, or store activities to build team unity and growth.
Be flexible in handling unexpected situations, always keeping the outlet’s performance and reputation in mind.

Based in Kuantan, Pahang
Requirements:
2–3 years of relevant work experience
RM1,700 – RM2,500 per month (depending on experience)
