Job summary

A construction management company in Kangar is seeking an experienced Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in operations management and knowledge of road construction. Responsibilities

• Ensure the program is updated daily and discuss delays with Operation Manager.
• Communicate site activities to all staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Participate in client meetings and assist with client updates.

Job description

Ensure that the program is updated daily and discuss with the Operation Manager about anything that can delay the project.

Communicate to all site staff, sub contractors, trades and suppliers site activities and ensure timely response to program requirement.

Participate in client meetings as required and assist Operation Manager to update work programmed information to client frequently.

Make a tool box meeting before start works at site. Ensure compliance with site safety rule

Ensure that adequate stocks of personal protective clothing and equipment appropriate to the work and workforce are available on the site

Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with current codes, standards, operation & maintenance manuals, specifications, drawings, etc.

Ensure that measuring and testing equipment required for the work area is properly identified, calibrated, adjusted and labeled.

To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.

To prepare necessary paperwork for the completion of work and get it authorized by client after inspection.
