Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

The Go-to-Market Senior Specialist focusing on the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for products in Open Channel. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes in the telecommunication business.

The senior specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, sales, marketing and regions to ensure that product offerings are effectively positioned and launched, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

What are you accountable for?

Product Launch & Market Readiness:

  • Develop comprehensive GTM Plans: Create detailed end-to-end GTM execution plans for new product launches, upgrade and service offerings.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Marketing and Regional Sales teams to ensure launch readiness.
  • Ensure channel and product communications are aligned to business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Facilitate team integration: Act as the liaison between Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Operations to ensure cohesive execution of GTM initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Performance Tracking:

  • Analyse GTM Effectiveness: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of GTM strategies using performance data and market feedback.
  • Implement data-driven improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for GTM initiatives.

What do you need to have for this role?

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, technology, or a related industry, with a strong focus on go-to-market strategy and execution.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products or services in competitive markets.
